Our story

A legacy of love, lived through service.

Pratham Tyagi Memorial Trust was founded in 2014 in loving memory of Shri Pratham Tyagi — a teacher, philanthropist, and tireless advocate for rural India.

Shri Pratham Tyagi (1952–2013)

Pratham ji believed that real change begins in a single classroom, at a single hand pump, and at a single bedside. For four decades he worked across the villages of Uttar Pradesh — funding schools, drilling wells, and organising free medical camps long before any of it was fashionable.

After his passing, his family and students founded this trust to continue the work he started. Today, the trust serves over 200 villages across 6 Indian states.
